Terms and Conditions for End Customers

Welcome to Shippido. By placing an order through our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your purchase.

1. Nature of Our Service

Shippido is a shopping and shipping service that enables customers in South Korea to purchase products from well-known online shops located in countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Many of these original shops do not offer international shipping or support Korean-language services, which is why customers use our platform as an intermediary.

We mirror products listed on these shops and facilitate the purchase and shipment to Korea on your behalf. We do not manufacture, stock, or verify these products ourselves. All product information (including images, descriptions, availability, or pricing) is provided by the original shop, and we cannot guarantee its accuracy or completeness. We are not the official seller of any products shown on our platform and do not claim ownership of product copyrights, trademarks, or images. These are only displayed to facilitate the purchase process on behalf of the customer from the original online shop.

2. Product Availability

Because we rely on external online shops, we cannot always guarantee that a product displayed on our marketplace is still available at the time of ordering. If a product is found to be unavailable after you place your order, we will refund the corresponding amount for that item only. The rest of your order will be processed and shipped as planned.

Important: A full refund of your entire order is not possible. Only the specific unavailable item will be partially refunded. The remaining items will continue to be delivered as usual.

3. No Refunds or Returns

Due to the complexity and cost of international shipping, we do not offer refunds or accept returns once an order has been placed and shipped. Even if a product page mentions return rights, this information may be mirrored from the original online shop and does not apply when ordering through Shippido.

4. Heat-Sensitive and Perishable Items

Please be aware that we cannot provide refrigerated shipping or temperature control. If you choose to purchase heat-sensitive or perishable products—such as chocolate, cheese, or cosmetics—you assume full responsibility for the condition of these items upon delivery, especially during the summer season. Additionally, our shipping timeframe is typically 5–10 business days, which may affect the quality of temperature-sensitive or short-shelf-life products. We do not verify whether a product requires refrigeration or has a short expiration date. Given the volume of product data we process, it is the customer's responsibility to consider whether an item may spoil during shipment and to make purchase decisions accordingly. We do not accept liability for items that deteriorate or become unusable due to shipping time or temperature during transit.

5. Customs Compliance and Import Risks

We strive to offer the widest range of products possible. However, due to the diversity and volume of items, we are not able to manually verify each product against Korean customs regulations. Our system uses AI-based checks to flag certain products during checkout, which may carry import restrictions or higher risk.

It is the responsibility of the customer to review and assess flagged products and decide whether to proceed with the purchase. We are not liable for customs clearance delays, rejections, or confiscations, and no refund will be provided for such cases.

6. Prices, Payments, and Currency

All prices on Shippido are listed in USD and may include estimated service and shipping fees. Orders must be paid in full at checkout. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors before processing an order.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping timelines are based on the processing speed of the original shop, availability, and international transit times. Once a parcel leaves our warehouse, you will receive a tracking number. Delivery times may vary, and we are not responsible for delays caused by customs or courier services.

8. Use of the Platform

By using Shippido, you agree not to abuse the system, provide false information, or attempt to resell restricted or prohibited items. We reserve the right to suspend or block any user who violates these terms or applicable laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

Shippido acts solely as a facilitator of purchases and shipments from third-party shops. We are not responsible for the quality, accuracy, safety, or performance of any products ordered. All risks related to the product choice, customs handling, and shipment are assumed by the customer. We do not own or stock the products and are not the official sellers. We only act as a service provider to assist with purchasing and forwarding items from their original source.

10. Final Provisions

These terms are subject to change. Continued use of the platform after updates means acceptance of the revised terms. For questions, please contact our customer support team.

11. Vendor Content and Confidentiality

Product listings on Shippido are created by third-party sellers. We do not control or verify the product descriptions, images, or claims made by individual vendors. Customers are responsible for reviewing product content and directing any concerns or inquiries regarding the product to the seller.

We maintain non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with our partner vendors. Therefore, we cannot disclose direct seller identities or contact information. All communication must be handled through our customer support channel.
