Fitzrovia Rosé is a delicate salmon colour with an abundance of fine bubbles. Chardonnay brings freshness and finesse, whilst the Pinots add the classic red fruits for which England is so acclaimed. A raspberry and redcurrant nose carries through to a fresh fruit-driven palate.
History
Ridgeview was founded in 1995 dedicated to creating world class sparkling wines in the South Downs of England. The second generation of the family have now become established in key roles within Ridgeview, enabling the continued expansion of the business. Our dedication, passion and determination have significantly contributed to the international reputation and popularity now attributed to English Sparkling Wine.
Regional Information
In 1995 planted original site at the foot of the South Downs in Sussex and selected 13 French clones of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier on three different rootstocks to emulate “l'assemblage. Production has expanded through the development of partnerships with a number of growers who are predominantly in or adjacent to the South Downs National Park. Viticulturalist Matt Strugnell Harvested by hand into small crates of less than 10 kg

Vinification Details
Handpicked, followed by whole bunch pressing conducted with respect to the must separation as stipulated by and within the CIVC permitted limits. Alcoholic fermentation with yeast specially prepared by Institute Œnologique de Champagne. 100% malolactic conversion (MLF). Suitable for vegetarians and vegans as no animal products used in fining.
