History
The estate lies on the Via Aurelia - a former Roman road linking Italy and Spain. The Romans settled here in 2nd century BC. The Berne Wine Estate was created in 1750. Château de Berne consists of 350 acres of vines, sheltered by 1,600 acres of forests and nourished by the Berne river.
