Bowmore lies at the heart of the island, on the shore of Loch Indaal, and is regarded as the 'best balanced' Islay malt whisky, characterised by its wonderfully rich, warm and smoky flavours.
Colour: Burnt Sienna.
Nose: Dark chocolate and raisin aromas compliment the classic Bowmore smokiness.
Palate: Wonderful Cedar wood and rich treacle toffee flavours.
The finish is robust and warming with a hint of sherry tannin.
